Project Overview

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center — a massive multi-tower hospital complex in Peoria, IL — required a full exterior facade cleaning after years of buildup across its concrete surfaces. The building’s height, irregular geometry, rooftop helipads, and wind-tunnel conditions made traditional cleaning unsafe, slow, and cost-prohibitive.

Apache-X deployed advanced cleaning drones to perform the work safely, quickly, and with minimal disruption to hospital operations. The entire drone phase was completed within 3–4 days, even with cold temperatures and wind challenges, versus several weeks using conventional methods.

Project Wins:

> Drone cleaning eliminated all height-related risk while delivering uniform cleaning quality across extreme elevations.

> Rapid deployment + high output allowed the entire multi-tower complex to be cleaned in just a few days.

> No disruption to patients, staff, parking, or hospital entrances.

> Validated large-scale healthcare capability — proof Apache-X can service major campuses safely and efficiently.
